Description

I currently use comment moderation in my implementation of WordPress and I think it worked wonderfully.

Except when I get comment flooded. It takes forever to go through and select delete for each comment. In those cases, instead of using Wordpress, I use MySQL to delete.

If not already in place, I suggest some sort of comment flood protection combined with a function to delete all comments listed.

I agree that there ought to be some comment flooding protection. But, as for comment deletion, isn't the Mass Edit mode good enough for this at the moment? You can already check all comments you want to delete and then delete them in one go, can't you?

Unless you are looking for a button that says "Delete All Comments For This Post", which couldn't discriminate good posts from bad...

  • Owner changed from anonymous to matt
  • Resolution changed from 10 to 70
  • Status changed from new to closed

Both of these are already in WP, check out the mass edit mode.

Also added mass delete buttons to the moderation page.
